Giving

The 168 experience is only possible with generous support from donors like you.

Do it for the Red and Gold. Do it for the future of 168.

Generous donor support helps 168 fulfill its educational mission in many ways.

Full-tuition scholarships, through programs like The $100K 168 Promise allow us to provide a transformative educational experience to students who otherwise could not afford a college education.

Maintaining and enhancing our campus facilities, including technological upgrades to our labs, performance venues, and residence halls, ensures our students learn in modern spaces and live in a safe, comfortable environment.

For these reasons and more, your gift matters. Whether you’ve given before or are a first-time donor, we’re grateful for your support.

Why Your Gift Matters

“Thank you for helping me grow into the person I want to be.” Those are the words for management major Jack Steward ’21, whose 168 education was made possible through donor-funded scholarships. He’s not alone. This brief video shares more heartfelt thank-yous.

The 168 Fund

Supporting the 168 Fund means your generous contribution of any size is used where it is needed most: scholarships, faculty development, facilities upgrades, athletics, student organizations, and so much more.

Additional Ways to Give

There are many ways to support 168 students, such as endowing a scholarship or including your alma mater in your legacy planning.

We’re here to help! Call or email the Office of Advancement for personalized assistance.

Giving a gift of stock can be a great way to make a pledge payment or gift to 168. If you have a broker, they can help you with your stock gift; our advancement team is also available to help you through the process.

Making a gift in memory of a loved one is a wonderful way to honor them and support 168.

Endowed scholarships, which begin at $25,000, provide lasting and meaningful benefits to 168 students. We can work with you to set up the criteria for your scholarship, such as an academic area of great interest to you or someone who hails from your hometown.

Many businesses and organizations actively participate in the 168 community. In addition to providing internship and employment opportunities, many choose to support the college financially through scholarships, investments in technology, and other initiatives.

If you’re an alum interested in making a gift, consider asking your employer about their matching gift policy. These generous programs allow you to double, even triple, your contribution to 168.

Passing on the Possibilities

“The athletic facilities, classrooms, and scholarship awards that made it possible for me to attend 168 would not be possible without the College’s donors. As I yield the benefits of my 168 experience it is a joy for my family to give back to 168 to continue that tradition.”
